Tender Manager MMT

MMT is expanding and are now looking for a new Tender Manager.
You will be part of a team working with international client projects within the oil & gas-, renewable energy-, marine cables- and hydrographic segments.

Main tasks

With your technical knowledge and businessminded approach, you will have primary responsibility for tendering of complex projects, many of which are for major stakeholders in the international market.
You will be expected to ensure that your tenders meet the requirements and expectations of the customers.

It is important that you evaluate all incoming bids taking into account all of the potential risks of each deal.
You will manage all aspects of the bid process, including coordinating the information-gathering process, evaluating the information, and performing the bidding.
You will be given full opportunity to apply your creativity in structuring and creating robust solutions, within normal constraints, such as internal resource allocation and customer budgets.

You will work closely with MMT’s sales organisation as well as engineers to ensure that the tendering process is moving forward, meeting the deadlines.

Further responsibilities will include presenting our solutions to customers, leading contract negotiations, cultivating and building our network of contacts, and working to achieve success in our tenders.

The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden.


• Produce competitive tenders and proposals according to specifications and MMT procedures.
• Evaluate likely risks and mitigate risks encountered during the project.
• Perform tender planning.
• Attend client/negotiation meetings.
• Work closely with all stakeholders within the organization to gather information.

Background and experience

• Post-graduate education.
• Preferably experience in offshore work.
• Excellence in Swedish and English, in spoken tongue as well as in writing.
• Experience in producing comprehensive and compelling technical and commercial bid documents in line with the customer requirements.
• Commercial and Tendering experience.

Personal qualification

• Develop and manage client relationships.
• Ability to work towards tight deadlines and on multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Good presentation skills.
