Role purpose: IT Specialist, Network in Sweden is responsible for providing support for daily network operational matters and has an engineering thinking when it comes to completing requests from business.
Makes sure that LAN is overall healthy, meaning network operations are stable and secure.
Reviewes and refreshes documentations on a regular basis.
Keeps track of network hardware intentory.
Ensures that Hydro GBS IT Architecture, Security, Operational standards, Policies and Strategy are followed on the supported locations, also that requirements from business are understood.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, configuring, and maintaining network hardware (WLC, APs, L2 and L3 switches) – mainly from Cisco
• Troubleshooting network issues and completing requests via tickets
• Maintain documentation about LAN setup
• Complying with company strandards and policies (e.g.
  IT Architecture, IT Security, Standard Operating Procedures)
• Participation in projects that involve network (e.g.
  EIT - ICS segregation)
• Cooperation with PLC technicians (OT environment)
• Complying with HSSE regulations, policies
• Optional but advantage:
• Participating in the on-call duty once a month

Requirements:

• Min.5 years of work experience in similar role
• Bachelor/Vocational Degree in IT
• Fluency in English and Swedish is mandatory
• Curious
• Team player
• Service champion
• Excellent communicator

Solid knowledge of:

• Switching, routing
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• Exposure to and understanding of a manufacturing environment is preferred
