Jebsen Centre for Cardiac Biomarkers is an internationally recognized research group within cardiovascular biomarker research and cardio-oncology led by Professor Torbjørn Omland at Campus Akershus University Hospital (Campus Ahus), Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo, Norway.

The successful candidate will be involved in cardiovascular/cardiometabolic disease research that may involve analysis and interpretation of clinical and population-based epidemiological studies
The appointment is a fulltime position and is made for a period of up to three years.
The main purpose of the fellowship is to qualify researchers for work in higher academic positions within their disciplines.
We seek a highly motivated, result oriented and skilled person with strong commitment to clinical and/or epidemiological research.
In addition to skills in biostatistics at an advanced level, emphasis will be put on flexibility, interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
Previous biostatistics experience in cardiovascular or cardiometabolic biomarker research, cardiovascular imaging research, or clinical or genetic epidemiological research will be desirable.
The candidate will work in close collaboration with other researchers at the Centre.
